Frequently Asked Questions
Dental Cleanings
Routine cleanings help prevent cavities and gum disease, reduce germs that cause bad breath, and improve your overall health.
Your All Smiles Family Dentistry dental hygienist will gently remove plaque and tartar buildup from the surface of your teeth. Then, they'll clean, polish, and, floss for a healthy smile!
Even with regular brushing and flossing, professional cleanings are necessary to remove plaque and tartar from hard-to-reach areas between the teeth and below the gumline.
Exams & Comprehensive Exams
Your All Smiles Family Dentistry visit includes a thorough exam, professional teeth cleaning, and any necessary screenings and imaging.
By visiting the dentist regularly, we can spot and treat small issues before they become serious and potentially more complex and expensive to treat.
Digital X-Rays & Diagnostics
Dental imaging uses very low levels of radiation making routine X-Rays safe and effective tools for maintaining your oral health.
Dental X-Ray frequency is dependant on your personal health history and risk factors. If you have a history of gum disease or cavities, you may need more frequent X-Rays than someone without those issues.
Fluoride Treatments
Fluoride treatments are beneficial for adults and children. Talk to your All Smiles Family Dentistry team to see if you or your child should consider a fluoride treatment.
During an in-office fluoride treatment, we'll apply a gel or foam to your teeth to remineralize your tooth enamel to help stop decay.
